What's the deal about not eating from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil?

a. Eve was given her name after the fall?
b. The name 'Adam' could mean 'mankind' in the generic sense and also 'red' (adom) or 'ground' (adamah) in hebrew?
c. Eve was tempted to eat of the fruit because it was 'good for food' and 'pleasing to the eye' - typical woman!
When GOD completed HIS 6 days of creation, HE took time to look over everything and HE saw that "it was very good and He approved it completely" Gen 1:31. God took time to enjoy the work HE has done, and we should do the same. In our passion to possess more and more, we often fall into the trap of working, working,working and we never enjoy our fruit of our labour. Sometimes we should simply take time to relax and enjoy what we have accomplished... Hmm.. so to say, I should take time to taste the brownie i baked last sun for the party.. WOW, it's taste so good wor...Hip Hip Hurray!!!!
Henceforth, we shall resist all the shiny and glitzy things as we walk through the shopping centres!!
One unresolved question (among many!) for me is : Are there still in our midst "sons of God" and "sons of man"? Are there among us who are partial descendants of the nephilim? Or have they all been eliminated from our midst?
