Deuteronomy 1-2

We've launched into Deut.

Here Moses begins by reviewing the history of the exodus, and identifies the lands around the Israelites relative to the Promised Land. He specifically indicates the land of Moab and Ammon are not part of the possession, and were an inheritance for the descendants of Lot.
