Moabites

Moab was related to Jacob through Terah, father of Abraham and Lot. Moab was the son of Lot's incest.

The Moabites apparently worshipped the same God of Abraham, but like Israel through much of their history, also worshipped idols and various Canaanite gods. The country of Moab lie in Jordan, east of the Dead Sea. On the way between Petra and Amman, we had to drive through Moab.
