Joshua 5-8

Joshua meets the angelic Commander of the Lord's army. YHWH delivers Jericho and the walls came tumbling down. Achan steals someof the loot for himself and causes YHWH to withdraw His support for the Israelites. After Achan is stoned to death, the Israelites continue routing the Canaanites. This time the city of Ai falls after a strategic ambush by Joshua, who is proving quite a clever commander.
